The Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca (La Seu) it lies in the oldest part of the city, overlooking the harbour is the only Gothic cathedral to be reflected in the water. It is a Levantine Gothic-style cathedral and it has one of the largest rose windows in the world, known as “the Gothic eye”. The construction began in the early 1300’s, but the earliest historical documents relating to the building date from 1230.
